Drupal Moving to Semantic WebThe big news at Drupalcon Boston was that in Version 7 drupal is moving to the semantic web. This has been an interesting topic that I have really wanted to better understand. So now I have a reason to try to learn what this RDF / microformats crazy cool stuff is. So far I am learning that it is still "complicated" but I am going to keep reading these documents over and over... RDFa Primer I found this to be understandable mostly. RDFa in XHTML: Syntax and Processing -- easy for you to say... Cool URIs for the Semantic Web -- headache so I need multiple pages for the "same thing" -- Yes I understand they are not "really" the same thing -- my "about me" web page is not really "me" triplify.org is trying to speak my language -- get the data and put semantic / RDF tags around it -- I just want to only create one page (or have drupal do the hard work) |

RDF introduction
Those are some heavy materials you're tackling... Maybe consider this Drupal Handbook list of RDF introductions instead.
I have read that
Arto,
Thanks for your comment. I have followed the RDF info on drupal pretty closely since seeing "the video."
I don't have a strong programmer / RDF background but I have always been interested in data and its uses. So I have trying to understand the "standards" and starting with "simple" things.
It's one of the strengths of the Drupal community that "crazy smart" programmers like you and "interested website builders" can work together.
